BF Mariposa is a part of BF Homes Paranaque,a big subdivision south of Manila which consists of areas from Paranaque, Muntinlupa and Las Pinas City. BF Mariposa used to be a swampy area called Dona Purisima. It is bounded in the north by BF International, in the south by Aristocrat Subdivision, in the east by VAA Homes and in the west by Paramount Subdivision.
In 1983, Pilar Development turned it into Caseria Mariposa, a housing area of ready-for occupancy one-storey dwellings. In 1990, the village association, upon filing its amended bylaws and article of incorporation, officially adopted the name BF Mariposa Homeowners Association, Inc., BF Homes Las Pinas, officialy declaring its United BFHAI membership.
The streets of the village are wide enough to accommodate 3 cars side-by-side. The residents opted to give them the names of butterflies: Mariposa, Papillon, Vanessa, Peruvian, Chrysallis, Viceroy, Monarch and Georgia.
The entrance from Ontario is a W - Georgia at the left, Mariposa at the middle and Monarch at the right. There are 4 parallel streets inside: Mariposa, Papillon, Vanessa and Peruvian. All 4 are perpendicular to Viceroy. At the end of Viceroy is Chrysallis which winds around in a U-shape.
A utility man maintains cleanliness of Mariposa streets with the assistance of 2 MMDA street sweepers.
Three security guards are responsible for peace and order in the community. There are some homeowners who employ their own security guards.

There are lots of ways to get to our place, we are located inside Asia's most largest Subdivision, BF Homes. We are near the International Airport that we regularly see planes coming through and from the airport.
From SLEX, Sucat Road, Paranaque:
Turn left at McDonalds in President's Avenue, straight and pass Topical Hut Hamburger, turn right at Aguirre Avenue, then turn left at Elizalde Avenue, turn right at Tropical Avenue, then turn left at Moscow Street, right at Sao Paulo Street and pass Mariposa Street and you are here!
From NAIA, Sucat Road, Paranaque:
Turn right at Jollibee in Lopez Avenue, pass through El Grande Avenue, turn right at Tropical Avenue, then turn left at Moscow Street, right at Sao Paulo Street and pass Mariposa Street and you are here!
From Zapote, Las Pinas City:
You will be passing through RFC, Manuela, New SM Las Pinas, City Hall, Perpetual Help Hospital, Uniwide, Casimiro Avenue and then turn left at BDO Talon Branch along Admiral Road, pass though Victoria Court and Saint Francis of Assisi College, and pass Aristocrat Village, straight at Libra Street then left at Leo Street and enter UBFHAI Mariposa gate and you are here!
From Alabang, Muntinlupa City:
You will be passing through South Station, ATC (First Overpass), Old SM Las Pinas (Second Overpass), Marcos Alvarez Road (Third Overpass), then turn right at BDO Talon Branch along Admiral Road, pass though Victoria Court and Saint Francis of Assisi College, and pass Aristocrat Village, straight at Libra Street then left at Leo Street and enter UBFHAI Mariposa gate and you are here!
From C-5 Extension in SM Sucat, Paranaque:
Turn right at C-5 Extension entry, left though Gatchalian Subdivision, then travel going out via Naga Road, left at Shell Gas Station besides Iglesia Ni Cristo Locale of CAA, then right along Casimiro Road, Left at Southville International School along Tropical Avenue, right at at Moscow Street, right at Sao Paulo Street and pass Mariposa Street and you are here!
From Cavite via Daang Hari:
